We were delighted when we started to stock Dedito boots as for a number of years we have been looking to add to our range some quality, waterproof walking/shooting boots and Dedito came to us highly recommended.
We have tried a few other brands in the past and sadly every one started to leak after a few wears and I have to admit we lost faith selling those brands as we had too many returns.
So we thought we would try Dedito ourselves first before we started stocking them and right from the word go we thought they were great.
We loved the customer service we got from the company, they were very friendly and happy to advise and we also loved the story of how they evolved and being a family run business they, like us, take pride in what they sell and produce.
We tested the Moorland boot which is the taller boot they do and were impressed with the finish of the boot with its tougher outer coating which is designed to be scratch resistant which is perfect If you are going through brambles etc.
My other half had broken his ankle beginning of the year so for him wearing the Boot was ideal as it gave him so much more support and was really comfortable to have them on all day.
We put them through their paces and have been out in all weathers and they continually keep our feet nice and dry and comfy so in my eyes that’s a massive win.
You do have to go up a size we find as they come up on the small side and that’s due to the fact they are made using Italian lasts so are a bit smaller but that’s fine and we advise people the same.
I personally prefer the shorter one for me, the Dodi, and I use the Gaiters with them as well which are really easy to put on and keep my trousers clean and dry as well so are as effective as a wellie.
On the whole, we are very confident recommending these boots to our customers so if you are looking for a quality boot that will last and be comfortable to wear all day whether its for work or walking the dogs on any terrain give Dedito a try.
